In Shri Vidya, the external rituals are merely a precursor to the inner transformation. As you progress in your spiritual journey, guided by your guru and fueled by self-realization, the external rituals will gradually internalize. The true Shri Chakra Puja is a continuous, 24/7 process, unfolding within you.
A time comes when the seeker is no longer worshiping the deity; instead, they become one with the divine energy. The ultimate goal is not to perform Shri Chakra Puja for a few hours but to make it an ongoing, uninterrupted process, especially if your aspiration is liberation, not mere worldly pleasures.
The subject is vast and profound, and not all secrets need to be revealed here. In brief, the complete Shri Chakra Puja, comprising nine avaranas (layers), is an inner journey. The external puja, where you offer kumkum (vermilion powder) to the deity, is replicated internally. When you transcend to the inner realm, your mental faculties will perform the kumkum archana (offering).
But how does this happen? In simple terms, the mental faculties that you’ve developed will take over the role of kumkum in the internal puja. This is not about visualization or imagination; spirituality is about realization, not visualization.
In the internal puja, you’ll surrender your mental faculties, one by one, to your Ishta (chosen deity). Each avarana of the Shri Chakra represents a level of spiritual growth, indicating how far you’ve risen in your sadhana (spiritual practice). As you ascend, your vices will dissolve, stability will be established, and your life will transform.
This nine-layered journey begins with the earth element (Maya) and culminates in transcending the gunas (qualities). The guru’s guidance is essential for this journey. As you reach the bindu (point), you’ll become empty, and that’s where knowledge and power converge.
At this stage, your energy, symbolized by the Kameshwari beeja (seed mantra), merges with the Kameshwara beeja (Om), opening up new dimensions of the universe. This state is beyond description.
As your sadhana progresses from the physical to the spiritual realm, paranormal events will begin to unfold. As a seeker, you’ll offer your resolutions and mental faculties at each petal of the Shri Chakra, gradually surrendering your ego. Ultimately, you’ll reach a state where you’ll have no desires, no resolutions, and no ego. Only you and your Ishta will remain… and finally, not even you.
