The Sarvartha Sadhaka Chakra – Shri Vidya

Moving from self-interest to the welfare of all!

As we progress on the spiritual path, our emotions, attachments, and ego become insignificant. After a certain point, these emotions are like stagnant water, holding us back. We must transcend them to become viraat (universal) and karunamaya (compassionate).

In this context, even compassion can be a form of ego. We must move beyond emotions and cultivate wisdom. The goddess Shri Lalita, whom we’ve been worshiping as a mother figure, now becomes a neutral energy, guiding us forward.

To receive her guidance, we must embody the qualities of Parvati: surrender, self-discipline, and patience. We must recognize that the divine energy is not our personal property, but a universal force.

The Sarvartha Sadhaka Chakra represents the pinnacle of spiritual growth, where we transcend personal desires and work for the welfare of all. This doesn’t mean we wander around, trying to fix everyone’s problems. Instead, we focus on our own spiritual growth, and in doing so, we become a source of positive energy for others.

This chakra is for those who have reached a certain level of spiritual maturity. It’s not about fulfilling personal desires, but about achieving spiritual liberation. We must clarify our intentions and aspirations: What do we seek from the divine? Do we want spiritual growth, self-realization, or liberation?

Many spiritual seekers have been practicing Shri Vidya for years, but their progress has been limited to material benefits. They’re stuck in this chakra, unable to move forward. This is because they lack a broader understanding of the spiritual path.

During the worship of this chakra, we can ask Mother Lalita to grant us the spiritual understanding that leads to liberation. We can request her guidance in becoming introspective and transcending the limitations of the mind.

If we don’t have a living guru, we can ask the divine to provide us with a sadguru who can guide us further on the spiritual path. Alternatively, we can request the divine to grant us the wisdom to move forward on our own.

The Sarvartha Sadhaka Chakra represents the ultimate goal of spiritual growth, where we transcend personal interests and work for the welfare of all. We must recognize that our individual growth is linked to the growth of the universe.

As we progress on this path, we’ll reach a point where we’re no longer bound by emotions like pride, jealousy, anger, or attachment. We’ll become neutral, like a witness, and our actions will be guided by wisdom rather than emotions.

This is the essence of the Sarvartha Sadhaka Chakra. May we attain the wisdom and liberation that it represents. Om.
